I founded Step Green to merge sustainability with social impact. During a visit to a rural area in my state, I witnessed farmers burning crop residue and saw an opportunity to repurpose agricultural waste—especially fodder—into eco-friendly slippers. This initiative addresses environmental concerns while empowering rural artisans with meaningful livelihood opportunities.
Fodder like paddy straw and husk is collected, cleaned, and sun-dried. It’s then treated, compressed into sheets, and shaped into soles. Eco-friendly fabric forms the upper. Artisans hand-assemble each slipper, ensuring quality and comfort. The slippers are then packaged in recycled materials, ready for sustainable steps forward.
Why wear synthetic when you can step into sustainability?
Step Green slippers are more than just footwear—they're a lifestyle.
